What a sophisticated take on an espadrille! These Cole Haan ballet flats are comfy, versatile, and available in such bright, fun colors for summer. I'm loving these peacock ones.

These hot pink tasseled gladiators by Emilio Pucci make me very giddy. The rope detailing is perfection and even the liner is pretty!

With the rain in New York seeming like it may never stop, I'm looking for a positive spin on the weather, and these sleek, studded Burberry rain boots just might be the answer. The rain suddenly seems a little less inconvenient when you're able to strut around town in this fancy footwear.

So, I'm attempting to rewrite my post from yesterday since it disappeared from the digital world, along with all the other posts out there within Blogger - let's see how much I can remember...here we go...

Last week I attended an Association of Bridal Consultants meeting at Water Street Restaurant & Lounge in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Water Street is a great alternative venue for a wedding, or the perfect place to gather for a shower or rehearsal dinner. The vibe is very historic, yet hip, and they have a variety of rooms to choose from for your event to accommodate any size party. Or you can rent the whole place (maximum of 385 guests). Whether you're interested in a small, intimate affair, or a huge dance party, Water Street can deliver. They have a ton of helpful information on their site, so check it out and let your party planning begin!

Thank you to Stella Inserra of Simply Dazzling Events and the Association of Bridal Consultants for another wonderful night, and to both Stella and Feuza Reis of
Feuza Reis Photography, for their presentation.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo this week, I bring you these vintage (1940's) hand tooled shoes from Mexico. Check out the insanely detailed floral designs! They are a size 4, but fit a US size 5-5.5 and are unworn, so if you are lucky enough to have tiny feet, you could also be lucky enough to own these suckers. There is only 1 pair available on Etsy and they are on sale for $85. Now all you need is a margarita and you're ready to get your Mexican folk dance on!
