DESIGNER CHALLENGE DAY 13: 2014 TREND OF CHOICE

There are so many amazing wedding trends for 2014, and with day 13 of the Full Circle Eventi challenge, we were tasked to design another wedding using the trend of our choice. I chose to focus on pops of color. 

We've seen pops of color in the past, but this year it's all about picking only one and using it sparingly. I took Pantone's 2013 color of the year, Emerald, and paired it with black, white, and nude for a fresh, modern twist. The green doesn't show up everywhere - just in pieces of the wedding - and in small doses as to not be overpowering. Take a look and let me know what you think!

Yippee! It's always a happy day when you get to see a wedding you planned/designed up on Style Me Pretty, in the company of so much other beauty and inspiration.

Emily and Julian got married at Island Farm on Elihu Island in Stonington, CT this past June. And it was nothing less than extraordinary.
