I have to say, it was really hard to pick just one 2014 wedding trend to focus on for day 4 of the Full Circle Eventi Designer Challenge, but I ultimately went with art deco and Great Gatsby inspired design.
I just love that era and it's coming back big time for weddings this year. From the elaborate ornamentation and decor, to the geometric shapes, to the glitzy fashion and overall glamour, what's not to love? I went with black, gold, and pops of mint green to capture the feel of this hot wedding trend - check out my interpretation below and let me know what you think!

I love challenges. Like really, really love them. I try to do as many as possible in all areas of my life - health and wellness, writing and blogging - and now, design. Thanks to Lia Moore of Full Circle Eventi, I am exercising my creative muscles with her 30 day designer challenge. The challenge for day 1 was to design a wedding using the Pantone color of the year - radiant orchid! I decided to pair this purple-pinky shade with mint green and gold, along with dark wood accents for a bohemian lovefest filled with vintage, organic, and quirky details. I hope you love it!
